SEMAR, Knee Arthroplasty
Aquilion ONE ViSION
60-year-old male, total right knee arthroplasty follow-up. A 0.5 mm helical knee CT scan was performed with SEMAR (Single Energy Metal Artifact Reduction). Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR) and 3D Volume Rendered demonstrate the knee metallic prosthesis. SEMAR reconstructed images show minimized streak artifact while providing better visualization of soft tissue and bone structures.
Dynamic Volume Elbow CT
Aquilion ONE ViSION
A dynamic volume CT of the right elbow was performed on a 44-year-old male for evaluation of joint kinematics. The region of interest was the radial head joint. Dynamic 3D Volume Rendered and Multiplanar Reconstructions (MPR) demonstrate the motion of proximal radioulnar joint in pronation and supination.
